Best Student Posters Award

To encourage students to present excellent studies at ICoN6 the Best Student Poster Award is given in recognition of the Best Student Poster presented at ICoN6. The prizes will be selected by the Scientific Advisory Committee and session chairs according to the quality and relevance. Results will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on October 12.

Financial support for students

ICoN6 wishes to encourage high-quality abstracts from students and increase the diversity of the conference by providing free shared accommodations (2 to a room in Nan Cun Dian Hotel) to those students who are eligible for financial support. Should the student decide to make other arrangements, they will not receive financial support.

Financial Support Application:
  1. Students from low to middle income countries (as listed by the World Bank) may apply for financial support. To apply, click “Yes" under “Apply for Student Financial Support” when you register online. As funds are limited, we are only able to offer support for 19 students.

    This list includes countries ranked by the World Bank as low- to middle-income countries, based on the gross national income (GNI) per capita as calculated using the World Bank Atlas method. Low-income countries are those with a GNI per capita of $995 or less in 2017; lower middle-income economies are those with a GNI per capita between $996 and $3,895.   1. Those student participants whose oral/poster abstract submissions are ranked in the top 3 by the respective session conveners will automatically be offered financial support, regardless of country of origin.
